Like our favorite music, it all goes back to HOUSE. In 2015, Stephanie Reese and Tyler Cushing moved into a magical midcentury modern home in the hills of Glassell Park, CA. One of the first fixtures in their new home was a now infamous neon sign with an equally infamous provenance. “The Glitter Factory” neon originated from the popular television series “Parks and Recreation” - a set piece from their strip club set of the same name. The sign was hung prominently in the glass walled living room of their Mount Washington abode, and thus “The Glitter Factory” was born. Soon after, gatherings began. Over the years as friendships grew, so did the size and scope of the events. From birthdays, to wedding receptions, The Glitter Factory played host to many an affair. Word spread, and the house parties became a thing of legend. Nearly a decade later, the legendary house of glitter is ready to embark on a new journey, taking our sparkly shitshow on the road.

Apocalypse Meow began as one of the many puns uttered by Stephanie Reese. It became the name of a Burning Man camp back in 2015, originated by many Glitter Factory regulars and friends. The core four of Aaron Grasso, Tyler Cushing, Caitlin Benti, and Stephanie Reese continued the mission of meow at Burning Man ever since. For many years they dreamed of building an art car that would carry their theme, and prowl the playa. In 2022 the dream came true. A purrfect base vehicle came knocking at their doorstep, like a stray cat looking for a home. Aaron Grasso designed the art car that would be so aptly named “The Atomic Pussy” - A cat face with an atomic mushroom cloud shooting up behind it and a DJ booth appointed atop the explosion. Work began in spring of ‘22 with Aaron and Caitlin heading up the construction, along with some helping hands. Tyler jumped in with sound design just in time for the final push into Burning Man that August. Atomic Pussy’s debut was the culmination of many years of dreaming, planning, and finally fucking doing. She brought music and joy to many, and we can’t wait to continue her glow up and spread our pussy far

The Glitter Cats are a group of mischievous friends who have made a name for themselves at Dirtybird Campout with their love of cats and glitter.

It all started when they threw a renegade at the bathroom, affectionately dubbed a "Shitty Party," and realized they had a knack for throwing memorable events.

In 2021, they had planned to do a "Plampout" theme with plants and lava lamps, but their love of cats and glitter proved too strong to resist. With the help of their friends at The Glitter Factory, they became known as the Glitter Litter and brought giant inflatable cats and a light-up ball pit to their campsite, becoming the cat's meow of the festival.

But it was in 2022 when the Glitter Cats really let their claws out with a stage designed in the shape of a giant cat head and AI cat projections throughout the campsite. Festival-goers were feline the love as they bounced around in the giant bouncy castle ball pit while DJs from the festival stopped by to play and meow.

These purr-fect party animals are always looking for new ways to bring their unique style and flair to their events, making them the ultimate cat-tenders of the festival circuit. So if you're looking for a fintastic time and some seriously claw-some vibes, make sure to join the Glitter Cats at their next event.
